In ye olden days, AP or UPI newswire teletypes would spit out a constant stream of paper in newsrooms. Editors or reporters would have to periodically use rulers to tear apart the continuous spool of paper into individual stories. These stories would be sorted into baskets or hooks on the wall. This was called "stripping the wire". In the same way, this blog will attempt to sort through relevant content on the internet to identify and "strip out" items of interest for my students.

I agree 95% with this article. Your education should be what you make of it. At the same time, you can't knock a person for choosing the classes that are right for them...even if they are studying Madonna. Somehow, someway, every class makes you think differently. This thinking applies to a variety of topics in life.
Education is the only way in this world to get ahead and make something of our lives, but if a person chooses simple classes in reards to their major, but it is simply not necessary in my eyes, if it is that seruious one might as well go get hands on experience in doing an internship, but Rhonda has a point too on how every class makes a person think differently.
